Carrot Vodka. Yes really.

First there was carrot beer. Then came the carrot bread. This year we’ve launched carrot vodka.

My friend Gen, who is also married to a vegetable farmer, had the idea to turn wonky carrots into vodka.

Sensational idea.

You can try it at the Scenic Rim Eat Local Week Winter Harvest Festival on Saturday July 1.

It’s also available to buy from the Flinders Peak Winery cellar door.
